The Wingmaker is a story that came to visit me a few years ago and willed itself written. All I did were the illustrations, to which I aimed to convey a sense of mystery and wonder. I wanted them to be different from all stories I had seen illustrated before.
The Wingmaker is about one's inner strengths and possibilities and how becoming aware of them can totally change one's life and perception of everything.
