Between 27th and 31st March 2024 at the Oxo Tower Wharf Gallery for "Iranian Diaspora: Stories of Sanctuary and Solidarity," and art exhibition exploring the themes of migration and solidarity and all that these themes encompass.
Admission is Free and opening times are 11 am to 6 pm daily.

The exhibition showcases the artworks created by Iranian refugees over a number of creative workshops, alongside artworks created in collaboration with the artists running the workshops, as well as some of the personal artworks of the four artists who participated in this project, myself included. All the artworks revolve around the themes of uprooting, migration, mental health and solidarity and the myriad branches that shoot out of these topics. The project and exhibition are the brainchild of Dr. Roghieh Dehgan Zaklaki, as a creative engagement forming an inherent part of her research into Iranian torture survivors, in collaboration with Maryam Hashemi, Lola Awada (moi), Majid Adin, Nasrin Parvaz and Sohail Jannessari.  The project was funded by the Wellcome Trust, in collaboration with University College London (UCL) and was generously supported by the Arts Council's Lottery Fund. We are profoundly grateful to all three of them.
